How to qualify for future procurements

PostNord Group Sourcing, that is responsible for PostNord’s purchases within certain selected categories, has due to the procurement act 2014/25/EU chosen to implement and use a qualification system for a number of categories and their sub-categories:

  • Facility Management and Real Estate
  • Fleet & transport equipment
  • HR related services
  • IT & Telecommunication
  • Marketing
  • Production
  • Professional Services
  • Travel & conferences
  • Packaging & Print
  • Transports (National Air transport & Train transport)

The Qualification System will be utilized mainly, but not limited to, for the procurement obligation where applicable, according to Directive 2014/25/EU and the national law (LUF and FSVD).

The Qualification system are announced in Tender Electronics Daily (TED) and Mercell TendSign. This way, all suppliers can view and apply for registration in the Qualification System and become qualified for participating in the upcoming procurements.

Application

In order to be registered in the Qualification System, suppliers must submit an application to the Mercell Commerce AB procurement tool TendSign. The supplier may also upload ESPD (European Single Procurement Document) as attachment to its Request to participate. To applicate by Tendsign and to be registered as a supplier will be free of charge.

No guarantee

A supplier who is interested in participating in procurements covered by the Qualification System has to be qualified. Fulfillment of qualification criterias needs to be maintained over time, otherwise the supplier risks to be excluded from the Qualification System.

It is important to be aware of that registration will not give qualified suppliers any guarantee to be invited to participate in procurement procedures. PostNord also reserves the right to ask suppliers more specific questions regarding the specific procurement procedure.

Continuous registration

The Qualification System allows continuous registration and for that reason it is no deadline for application. However, it is important to note that procurement procedures conducted by PostNord according to a Qualification System will normally not be further announced.

Questions regarding the Qualification

  • If you have any questions about the Qualification System or the process, please feel free to contact PostNord directly via the procurement tool Tendsign.
